Consider and take action on a resolution to support the proposed ramp reversals on I-45 between FM 518 and FM 646 for the exiting of traffic from I-45 onto the existing frontage road (Assistant City Manager, Public Works)
Staff recommends approval.
Background:
This action will allow the Sonrisa Realty Partners Limited to finalize the development of an outlet mall with Tanger Development Company on 37 acres of land adjoining the southbound frontage road adjacent to Big League Dreams. The ramp reversal is a necessary component for Tanger Development Company to proceed forward with their development of the outlet mall. The ramp reversal shall be coordinated through TxDOT and will come off of the southbound I-45 lanes in a location close to Big League Dreams providing access to the new Outlet Mall development.
