Consider and take action on renewing Section 1 of the annual contract for Streets, Sidewalks and Stormwater Facilities Drainage Repair with Teamwork Construction (Assistant City Manager, Management Services)
Staff recommends approval.
Background:
On February 26, 2008 Teamwork Construction was awarded bid 08-0006 for Streets, Sidewalk and Stormwater Drainage repair. The bid was broken out into two sections, with Section 1 representing the Street Department and Section 2 representing the Line Repair Department. On October 27, 2009 only Section 1 was renewed. Section 2 was bid out seperately due to an increase in quantities. Staff is requesting to renew Section 1 with Teamwork Construction. This vendor has performed satisfactory in fulfilling the terms of the existing contract and they do not foresee any price increases. The estimated expenditure for this contract is $204,000.
