The DeltaSphere-3000 3D Scanner is a system designed for photorealistic reconstructions of spaces and objects - to be used for capturing all points of interest at crime scenes. This product was designed for law enforcement investigative purposes and includes scene capture, analysis, animation, and visualization to capture data with photographs and scanning, bullet trajectories, blood spatter trajectories, and courtroom presentations (re-creations). The cost of the system is $52,275.00 plus annual updates of $1,800.00 to begin in 2013. The system will be purchased from 3rdTech, Inc as a Sole Source Vendor. The supporting documentation as a Sole Source Provider is attached. The equipment purchase of $52,275.00 will come from the Safelight Expenditure account 270-1805-642-5573. The recurring software cost of $1,800.00 beginning in 2013 will come from Computer Equipment and Software account 010-1805-642-5194.
