Consider and take action approving an "Electrical Facilities Extension Agreement" with Texas New Mexico Power Company for the extension of electrical distribution facilities to the City's Southwest Water Reclamation Facility, and authorizing payment from the Construction Contingency Budget included in the Construction Manager at Risk Contract (Assistant City Manager, Public Works)

Background:
In order to provide electrical distribution service to the City's Southwest Water Reclamation Facility it is necessary for Texas New Mexico Power Company (TNMP) to extend approximately 4,700 LF of electric lines, poles, and appurtenances. The cost for these electrical distribution facilities is $182,107.05 minus TNMP's standard allowance of $100,000.00, plus applicable federal taxes of $27,670.00, for a total cost of the City's contribution to be $109, 777.13. Funds for the extension of electrical distribution service are included in the Construction Contingency Budget of the Construction Manager at Risk Contract with CDM Constructors, Inc.
