Consider and take action to authorize staff to proceed with the procurement of real property interests associated with the CIP WW 1001 North Service Area Lift Station, Force Main, and Gravity Sewer Project (Assistant City Manager, Public Works)
Staff recommends approval.
Background:
The City needs to obtain real property rights-of-entry agreements and real property easement and fee interests across and to properties affected by the North Service Area Lift Station, Force Main, and Gravity Sewer Project. The project route is depicted on the attached aerial exhibit.
Staff requests approval from City Council to: (1) solicit rights-of-entry agreements from the affected property owners; and (2) negotiate conveyance terms with the property owner(s) to the end that formal conveyance offers (via sale and purchase, exchange, or donation) may be tendered, subject to further Council approval, to the affected property owners.
Requests for approvals for rights-of-entry agreements and formal conveyance offers shall be brought back to City Council for its consideration.
