Consider and take action to grant an Electric Distribution Line Easement to Texas-New Mexico Power Company, within property owned by the City for the purpose of providing electric distribution service to the City of League City South Shore Harbour Booster Pump Station (Deputy City Manager)
Background:
Approval of this item, will grant Texas-New Mexico Power Company a no cost easement to provide service to the City of League City's South Shore Harbour Booster Pump Station. In order to provide electric service for the upgrades to the South Shore Harbour Booster Pump Station, it is necessary to grant a 16 foot wide x approximately 75 foot length (1,181 square feet) easement to Texas-New Mexico Power Company for the purpose of constructing, reconstructing, operating, inspecting, patrolling, maintaining, adding to, replacing and/or removing electric distribution lines and transformer, to serve the Booster Pump Station. This easement will be occupied with underground electric distribution lines and a pad mounted transformer. The attached drawing exhibit shows the location of the easement that is required.
