Consider and take action to approve a resolution declaring four vehicles, one boat, motor and trailer; and six pieces of equipment as surplus property and approve the method to be used to dispose of the property (Director of Finance)
Background:
Approval of this item will authorize the disposal of surplus vehicles and equipment. Per Chapter 2, Article VI, Section 2-301 of the City of League City Code of Ordinances, before any property of the City is sold City Council shall first declare the property surplus and choose the method to be used in disposing of the property. Attached Exhibit "A" identifies the list of automobiles and equipment proposed for auction. The exhibit also outlines the reasons for the recommended disposition.
