Background:
Approval of this item will enter into an agreement with American National Insurance Company for temporary emergency sheltering during a hurricane. The City of League City and American National Insurance Company wish to enter into an agreement that will provide the City a means of emergency sheltering (10 rooms/20 persons) and up to 75 covered parking spaces in the event of a hurricane. These provisions would begin 24 hours before landfall of a storm and would be vacated as soon as deemed safe
