Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing a design agreement with Burditt Consultants, LLC for preliminary design of the FM270 Public Boat Ramp Renovation project in an amount not exceed $62,000.00 (Director of Budget & Project Management)
Background:
Approval of this resolution will authorize the award of the design agreement to Burditt Consultants, LLC for the preliminary design of the FM270 Public Boat Ramp Renovation project (PK1804).
The project intention is to provide design, construction documentation, and construction administration services for the Public Boat Ramp located under the FM 270 bridge. Design of this project will be completed in 2 phases (for a total of $155,000.00), with the initial phase ($62,000.00) being for preliminary design, survey, and geotechnical services sufficient for the Texas Department of Parks & Wildlife grant, which will be submitted in October 2018. The need for the final design ($93,000.00) will be contingent on receiving grant funding.
Staff requests approval to award the design contract to Burditt Consultants, LLC in an amount not to exceed $62,000.00.

FUNDING
