Consider and take action on a resolution accepting an easement from the Claremont Park Homeowners Association for part of the Claremont Connector Hike and Bike Trail Project (Director of Parks & Cultural Services)
Background:
Approval of this item will allow the City to formally accept an easement granted by the Claremont Park Homeowner's Association as part of the Claremont Connector Hike and Bike Trail Project.
The City will construct a multi-use path along a utility corridor running northeast from an existing trail in the Village of Oak Creek Colony to an existing trail in the Clear Creek Meadows. The Claremont Park Homeowner's Association owns property in the area, and has agreed to convey an easement to the City in order to accomodate the construction, maintenance, repair and public use of a multi-use path to be constructed on the property.
Staff recommends approval of this agenda item.
