Consider and take action on a resolution accepting a Water Meter Easement conveyance from Alder Property Companies, LLC associated with the proposed development of Block 1, Lot 1R, John Eagle Honda of Clear Lake (Director of Engineering)

 

Background

Approval of this resolution will accept a Water Meter Easement conveyance from Alder Property Companies, LLC associated with the proposed development of Block 1, Lot 1R, John Eagle Honda of Clear Lake.

 

Alder Property Companies, LLC has purchased the platted Lot 1R out of the John Eagle Honda of Clear Lake commercial property and has constructed a public water main with fire hydrants to provide necessary fire protection per approved plans.  Proposed water meters were set on the accepted water line to provide domestic and irrigation water services for the commercial development of the subject property.  Due to a conflict with an existing franchise utility easement, the water meter locations were moved. This Water Meter easement conveyance covers the area for 2-2-inch water meters as installed per revised site development plan.  This easement is needed for the City to provide the Final Certificate of Occupancy for the commercial property.
