Consider and take action on appointments to boards and commissions (City Secretary)
Background:
In the month of August each year the City Secretary's office solicits applications from citizens interested in serving on a city board, commission or committee. Applications from incumbents who wish to be reappointed, together with applications from nonmembers are compiled and submitted to City Council. All applicants are considered at a council meeting in December.
