Title
Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing a construction contract with Statewide Services, Inc. for the Newport Water Line and Sidewalk Replacement Project (WT1302A), in the amount of $1,496,145.00 and establish a work change directive budget of $149,615.00 (Director of Budget & Project Management)

Background:

Approval of this resolution will authorize the award of the construction contract to Statewide Services, Inc. in the amount of $1,496,145 for the construction of the Newport Water Line and Sidewalk Replacement Project and authorize a work change directive budget of $149,615 for a total construction budget of $1,645,760. The major portion of these water lines will be installed by auguring, with the existing service lines moved from the old water line and reconnected to the new water line.
