Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing an interlocal agreement with Galveston County and the City of Dickinson for the Pin Oak Drive Renovation Project (Assistant City Manager)
Background:
Approval of this item will authorize an interlocal agreement with Galveston County and the City of Dickinson for the Pin Oak Drive Renovation Project.
Pin Oak Drive, which is located between the boundaries of the City of League City and the City of Dickinson, needs repair. Galveston County has agreed to serve as Project Manager and provide the equipment and manpower to renovate Pin Oak Drive, if League City and Dickinson will provide for the cost of materials for the Project. League City's portion of the materials is $6,723 and Dickinson's portion is $13,650.
In addition, Dickinson has asked that League City release approximately 640 feet of Pin Oak Drive and 280 feet of unimproved Pin Oak Right-of-Way from its extraterritorial jurisdiction so that Dickinson can annex those portions and bring Pin Oak Drive under its jurisdiction and maintenance. Galveston County has asked that League City annex 1270 feet of unimproved Pin Oak Right-of-Way from Geisler Gully to the end of the Pin Oak Right-of-Way.
CONTRACT ORIGINATION: Interlocal Agreement reviewed by the City Attorney’s Office.

FUNDING
{x} Funds are available in the amount of $6,723 from Streets & Stormwater Concrete, Asph, & Agg Supplies Account # 3300000-51910. The remaining $13,650 will be funded by the City of Dickinson.
