Consider and take action on a resolution accepting a conveyance of 0.16-acre property also known as Reserve B of Cedar Landing Section 2 from Gehan Land Ltd. to the City of League City (Director of Engineering)

 

Background:

Approval of this item will accept the conveyance of 0.16-acre property also known as Reserve B of Cedar Landing Section 2 (GCAD Property ID #395703) from Gehan Land Ltd. This property is located adjacent to FM 518.

 

The City currently owns GCAD Property ID #399989 and #399981 (as shown on the attached map) just west of this property. The conveyance of this property is seen as beneficial by Staff as it allows the City some flexibility if FM 518 is widened in the future. It is expected that the existing HOA will continue to mow this property as part of its mowing schedule. If this was to change, the cost of maintaining this 0.16-acre property is negligible to our fine cut mowing contract.
