Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing a one-year renewal agreement with Kustom Sweeping, LLC for street sweeping services at various locations in an amount not to exceed $74,160 (Director of Public Works)
Background:
Approval of this resolution will authorize a one-year renewal agreement with Kustom Sweeping, LLC for street sweeping services at various locations beginning September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023 in an amount not to exceed $74,160 including a 3% escalation in accordance with the existing agreement, with no renewal option remaining.
On August 24, 2021, City Council approved a one-year renewal agreement with Kustom Sweeping, LLC from September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2022 in an amount not to exceed $72,000 with the option to renew for one (1) additional one-year period.
On August 13, 2019, City Council approved a two-year agreement with Kustom Seeping, LLC Bid No. 19-Streets-014(R) from September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2021 in an amount not to exceed $149,000 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.
Kustom Sweeping, LLC has agreed to the terms of this renewal and Staff’s recommendation is to renew the agreement for street sweeping services at various locations based on performance history and fair market pricing. Applicable streets and planned frequencies are available for reference in Attachment No. 8.
