Texas Killing Fields is an area along I-45, where 34 victims have been discovered,
primarily young women.
Many of these cases remain unsolved
Four victims were found in League City, Texas between 1984 and 1991: Heidi
Villareal-Fye, 23; Laura Miller, 16; Audrey Lee Cook, 30; and Donna Gonsoulin
Prudhomme, 34.
The League City Council vision for the memorial is not limited to just a memorial. It seeks
a meaningful destination that draws people in and allows for a community gathering to
celebrate life.
