Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing a three (3) year agreement with Galls, LLC for uniforms and accessories for various departments in an amount not to exceed $918,612 (Chief of Police)
Background:
Approval of this item will authorize an agreement with Galls, LLC of Lexington, Kentucky for the purchase of uniforms and accessories for Emergency Medical Services, Fire, Fire Marshal, Neighborhood Services, and Police for a three-year period beginning October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2027, with two (2) one-year renewal options.
On July 24, 2024, the City issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) #24-033 for this item. Two responses were received on August 20, 2024, from Galls, LLC and GTS Distributors. A four-member evaluation team including City Staff from the Police Department, Fire Marshal’s Office, the Fire Department, Neighborhood Services, Facilities, IT, and Emergency Medical Services evaluated the proposal and recommended Galls be awarded the contract.
