Background:
Approval of this item will all League City Police Department to purchase fitness equipment and flooring from Rogue Fitness for the employee gym at 2705 Dickinson Avenue. When the City acquired the building at 2705 Dickinson Avenue, one of its intended uses was a gym for Police Department employees. The proposed purchase would provide a substantial portion of the equipment and flooring for that space, supporting physical readiness for sworn personnel and health and wellness for sworn and non-sworn employees.
Rogue Fitness Quote #214431 includes strength and cardiovascular equipment, storage, and flooring for $83,286.17, including the quoted discount and freight. The purchase will be funded through allocations approved during the budget process from the Police Department’s seizure funds account. Purchasing these items through one vendor consolidates orders, deliveries, and procurement coordination that would otherwise involve numerous suppliers.
Rogue Fitness holds GSA Contract # GS-03F-0091W. A detailed purchase justification is attached.
