Each item serves a very specific purpose toward our overall goals throughout the facility. Each day, the Ballpark Maintenance Staff strives to make this a sought-after destination for many to enjoy. As sports turf managers, our customer service is represented throughout the facility. We challenge ourselves to maintain a high standard and in order to accomplish this, we focus on the playability and the safety of our playing surfaces as well as the aesthetics of not only our natural turf but the facility as a whole. This is done by ensuring a proper agronomic plan is in place for natural turf areas, maintenance plans are in place for artificial turf areas and the coordination between departments is fluid so that all other areas share the same standard. The equipment will enable us to continuously maintain and improve The Ballpark at League City and sustain linear growth.

The equipment currently listed will allow Ballpark staff to do the following; transport personnel and equipment, mow and maintain all-natural turf areas within the facility and its surrounding areas from Calder to Ballpark Way, tow and haul larger pieces of equipment necessary to field maintenance and other duties, spray natural turf areas with appropriate applications, remove thatch from natural turf areas, promote soil consistency and sustain proper playability creating safe and consistent playing surfaces. Please note that the quantity of utility vehicles is necessary for the number of personnel and efficiency. The “2024 John Deere Diesel Utility Vehicle” is in addition to the gasoline utility vehicles in order to allow for the many tow and haul tasks mentioned above. We will have additional equipment in the upcoming budget necessary for field maintenance in an effort to accomplish our goals of improving and creating an elite facility.
