Hold a public hearing on an ordinance re-adopting Standards of Care for the League City Youth Recreation Programs to address staffing ratios, health standards, and staff qualifications (Director of Parks and Cultural Services)
Background:
Annual adoption of the Standards of Care by ordinance after a public hearing is required per Section 42.041(b)(14) of the Texas Human Resources Code, for the establishment of minimum standards required by the State of Texas for Youth Recreation Programs conducted by League City.
Changes made to this year's Standards of Care reflect staff title of designated program leader, adding an after-school care program, and communication devices used by staff.
