Hold a public hearing on an ordinance re-adopting Standards of Care for the League City Youth Recreation Programs to address staffing ratios, health standards, and staff qualifications (Director of Parks and Cultural Services)
Background:
Annual adoption of the Standards of Care by ordinance after a public hearing is required per Section 42.041(b)(14) of the Texas Human Resources Code, for the establishment of minimum standards required by the State of Texas for Youth Recreation Programs conducted by League City.
Changes made to this year's Standards of Care include updating staff titles to reflect the designated Program Leader position and removing references to the After-School Care Program.
