Presentation and discussion concerning the findings of the final Kemper Sports Management report associated with an analysis of The Ballpark at League City (Assistant City Manager)
Background:
On April 28, 2026, City Council considered and approved a professional services agreement with Kemper Sports Management LLC to perform and produce a comprehensive operational and financial assessment of The Ballpark at League City; one that allows the City to assess the overall operations and fiscal sustainability of this facility. Kemper Sports was additionally commissioned to identify needed capital investment and opportunities for revenue growth and market expansion. The production of an executive summary and full report followed a 100-day analysis and subsequent discussions with staff and Administration. The final versions of both the executive summary and full report have been provided to the Council. Ball Park management and City Administration will use the results and recommendations associated with this study as a basis for future planning and resource allocation decision making.
