Presentation of the Investment Report of the City of League City for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 (Director of Finance)
Background:
The Public Funds Investment Act (PFIA), Texas Government Code, Chapter 2256 states that no less than quarterly, the investment officer(s) shall prepare and submit to the governing body a written report of investment transactions for all funds covered by the Act for the preceding reporting period. Presentation of this report fulfills that requirement. This report reflects that on March 31, 2015, the City's total portfolio of $132,519,646 was in compliance with the PFIA and the City's investment policies. The Finance Committee reviewed this report on May 18, 2015. This report is presented for informational purposes only. No Council action is required.
