Background:
Approval of this item will authorize the purchase of one (1) 2026 Ford F550 ambulance from Southern Emergency and Rescue Vehicle Sales with related emergency equipment for Emergency Medical Services using H-GAC Contract No. AM10-23 in an amount not to exceed $475,380.
The FY2026 approved budget authorizes funding to purchase one new Ford F550 ambulance with related emergency equipment for Emergency Medical Services. Total funding for the new unit will be $683,340.
EMS staff has procured the Stryker medical equipment, Zoll medical ventilator, and additional supplies through contracted vendors with pricing set per EMS current contract.
Staff recommends the purchase with Southern Emergency and Rescue Vehicle Sales for one 2026 Ford F550 ambulance with related emergency equipment for Emergency Medical Services using H-GAC Contract #AM10-23 in an amount not to exceed $475,380 including the $1,000 H-GAC fee.
