Consider and take action on a resolution rejecting all received bids for Invitation to Bid (ITB) 24-032 Hometown Pool Resurfacing Project (Director of Parks & Cultural Services)
Background:
Approval of this resolution will authorize staff to reject all bids received in response to the Invitation to Bid (ITB) 24-032 Hometown Pool Resurfacing Project. The City issued the ITB for Hometown Pool Resurfacing Project with a deadline of Thursday, June 13, 2024, resulting in two companies submitting a bid. After review of the bid specification, staff determined that the specification needed to be revised to provide further detail and clarification to ensure an opportunity for additional qualified bidders.
Staff will issue a new ITB with further specifications. A new agreement for Hometown Pool Resurfacing will be presented to the Council at the conclusion of this new procurement process.
