Consider and take action on a resolution casting a ballot for the election of members to the Board of Directors of the Galveston Central Appraisal District for 2025 (Mayor Long)
Background:
On October 8, 2024 City Council adopted Resolution No. 2024-192 nominating Chad Tressler to the Board of Directors of the Galveston Central Appraisal District for 2025.
The City of League City is a voting unit entitled to cast 290 votes for one candidate or distributed among the candidates listed on the ballot.
Recommendation for allocation of votes will be made at the Council meeting. Term of office begins January 1, 2025.
