Consider and take action on a resolution consenting to the creation of Galveston County Municipal Utility District No. 81 and making certain findings related thereto (Executive Director of Development Services)
Background:
Approval of this item will consent to the creation of Galveston County Municipal Utility District 81.
MUD 81 is proposed to be created for the purposes of furnishing water, sanitary sewer, drainage, park and recreational, and road facilities and services to the area within its boundaries. The District will contain approximately 260.58 acres of land. It will include residential and commercial development as well as a regional detention pond. It is located in the southwest portion of League City just south of FM 517 and east of Dickinson Bayou.
