Consider and take action on a resolution designating an official flag of the City of League City (Mayor Long)
Background:
If approved, this resolution will adopt an official flag of League City that adheres to the basic principles of flag design according to the North American Vexillogical Association:
1. Keep it Simple
2. Use Meaningful Symbolism
3. Use 2-3 Basic Colors
4. No Lettering or Seals
5. Be Distinctive or Be Related
If approved, the City Manager will be authorized to procure appropriate quality and sized City flags to be displayed at all city parks and facilities where flagpoles are available.
