Consider and take action on a resolution approving the special warranty deed with Galveston County Municipal Utility District No. 45 formally conveying Restricted Reserve “C” of the Final Plat of Coastal Point, Section 2 associated with the Coastal Point Subdivision Sanitary Sewer Lift Station to the City of League City (Director of Engineering)
Background:
Approval of this resolution will approve the special warranty deed with Galveston County Municipal Utility District No. 45 (the “District”) formally conveying Restricted Reserve “C” of the Final Plat of Coastal Point, Section 2 associated with the Coastal Point Subdivision Sanitary Sewer Lift Station to the City of League City.
The District had constructed the Lift Station needed for the Coastal Point Subdivision and formally conveyed the lift station to the City in June 2020. The lift station was constructed on Restricted Reserve “C” as noted on the Final Plat of Coastal Point, Section 2. At the time of the conveyance, the Developer, League City 210 Development Partners, had not deeded Restricted Reserve “C” to the District. The District was deeded Restricted Reserve “C” in July 2020.
