Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing a two-year agreement with Yellowstone Landscape - Central, Inc. for rough-cut mowing services in an amount not to exceed $1,153,421.14 (Director of Public Works)
Background:
Approval of this item will authorize an agreement with Yellowstone Landscape - Central, Inc. for rough-cut mowing services for a two-year period beginning December 1, 2024 through November 30, 2026 in a total not to exceed amount of $1,153,421.14, with the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods. The award includes an estimated amount of $50,000 ($25,000 per year) to address areas of expanded service required to maintain City standards and City-wide aesthetics along major thoroughfares and other unforeseen areas of concern.
On August 15, 2024, League City released RFP 24-052 Mowing Services (Rough Cut). Four (4) qualified sealed bids were received on September 18, 2024 from Yellowstone Landscape - Central, Inc., Texscape Services, Rotolo Services, and Green World Care, Inc.
The bid tabulation is based on a two-year contract term:
• Yellowstone Landscape - Central, Inc. - $1,103,421.14
• Texscape Services - $1,344,444.38
• Rotolo Services - $1,449,889.30
• Green World Care, Inc. - $3,094,803.00
Scoring criteria included the four following categories:
Qualification and Experience - 25 pts
Product Methodology - 15 pts
Pricing and Fees - 50 pts
References - 10pts
