Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing the acceptance of an easement from ExxonMobil Pipeline Company for the Claremont Connector Community Trail (PK1703) (Director of Budget & Project Management)
Background:
Approval of this resolution will authorize the City Manager to execute the easement agreement with ExxonMobil Pipeline Company for the proposed 8-foot wide concrete hike and bike trail of the Claremont Connector Trail Project (PK1703).
This concrete trail would comprise an approximate total of 1.5 miles in length, and 8-feet in width. The Claremont Connector Hike and Bike Trail Project (PK1703) is intended to provide connectivity between parks, schools, and the subdivisions of: Claremont, Cedar Landing, and Clear Creek Meadows.
This easement is for two locations:
Approximately 200 feet south of Waverly Canyon Ln.
Approximately 600 feet southwest of Clear Creek Meadows Dr.
