Hold a public hearing on TPWD Outdoor Grant Application for Bay Colony Park - Phase 1 (PK2001) to review Grant Project construction impact to wetland and floodplain areas (Director of Budget & Project Management)
Background:
The grant application process requires the sponsor of the grant, the City of League City, to conduct a public hearing to solicit input from the public concerning the grant application and the new construction that will take place and to show and explain any portions of the project that will be developed in a flood plain or wetland.
The plan is for the City to enter into an agreement with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for a 50%/50% State/City matching grant supporting Bay Colony Park - Phase 1. If approved, the grant funds will become available near the end of FY2020.
