Consider and take action on an ordinance renaming the road (formerly Big League Dreams Parkway) that connects I45 to Calder Drive as Ballpark Way (City Manager)

Background:
Approval of this agenda item will rename the road (formerly Big League Dreams Parkway) that connects I45 to Calder Drive as Ballpark Way.
The only formal business on the road is League City's "The Ballpark at League City". There are a few utilities (a lift station, cell tower, etc.) that are also addressed off of this road for purposes of electric delivery.
Upon approval, the Planning Department will notify the United States Postal Services, all emergency service providers and governmental entities within our jurisdiction about the name change. City staff will also ensure that appropriate signage is installed as soon as practical following adoption of this ordinance.
