Background:
Approval of this item will support Texas Senate Bill 240, introduced for the 89th Texas Legislative Session. The bill amends Subtitle Z of the Texas Government code to add Chapter 3001 regarding governmental action affecting certain private spaces. Texas House Bill 239 is the companion bill filed in the Texas House of Representatives.
