Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing an Interlocal Agreement with Harris County regarding the shared use of the Public Safety Radio System for League City and Harris County (Director of Information Technology)
Background:
This item will authorize an Interlocal Agreement with Harris County regarding the shared use of the Public Safety System for League City and Harris County. Both Harris County and League City have a Public Safety Radio System and are licensed by the Federal Communications Commission for its operation. Harris County and League City desire to use each other's Public Safety Radio Systems for law enforcement and emergency purposes. This Interlocal Agreement will allow the governmental entity to use the other governmental entity's Public Safety Radio System for law enforcement and emergency purposes.
CONTRACT ORIGINATION: Agreement form approved by the City Attorney's office
