Hold a Public Hearing on the City of League City’s FY2025 Proposed Annual Budget (Assistant City Manager - CFO)
Background:
Pursuant to state law, a public hearing must be held on the City’s Annual Budget prior to its adoption.
City Council passed agenda item 9A at the July 9th City Council meeting calling for a public hearing on the budget for August 6th and August 27th. The August 27th public hearing on the budget fulfills the requirement by Section 102.006 of the Local Government Code.
The attached ad ran in the Galveston County Daily News on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, 21 days prior to the hearing. State law requires the notice to run at least 10 days but not more than 30 days before the hearing.
