Background:
Approval of this item will authorize a Professional Services Agreement with Edison McDowell & Hetherington LLP for various legal services at a rate of $200 per hour. Since 2015, the law firm of Edison McDowell & Hetherington LLP has provided specialized legal services to various city departments on an as-needed basis. As the total expenditures under this agreement is expected to exceed $50,000, City Council approval is required.
