Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing the sale of a 0.1016-acre (4,424 square feet) property as Temporary Construction Easement identified as P00091281 (Parcel 332 TCE) to TxDOT related to the construction of SH 99 Segment B1 in the amount of $4,247 (Executive Director of Capital Projects)
Background:
Approval of this resolution authorizes the sale of a property as Temporary Construction Easement identified as P00091281 (Parcel 332 TCE) to TxDOT in amount of $4,247 related to the construction of SH 99 Segment B1.
TxDOT is proposing to acquire 0.1016 acre (4,424 square feet) being out of the called 37.61-acre tract owned by the City of League City, GCAD Parcel #514545 as Temporary Construction Easement for the construction of SH 99 Segment B1. The 37.61-acre tract is currently used for the City’s Southwest Water Reclamation Facility. Location of this Temporary Construction Easement is a very small area to the south of the facility’s detention pond, away from the treatment process units. TxDOT has submitted an offer to the City of $4,247.
The City staff recommends acceptance of this offer. Temporary Construction Easement will expire on June 30, 2031.

FUNDING
{X} Revenue received by TxDOT in the amount of $4,247 will be deposited into the Right of Way (ROW) fund, fund 5030, revenue account number 5030-44200 (Sale of ROW). These funds will be used towards future utility land purchases or improvements to utility facilities.
