Consider and take action on Ordinance No. 2014-02 amending Chapter 2, Section 2-32 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of League City, Texas entitled "Conduct of Meetings" in order to adopt the most recent edition of Robert's Rules of Order - Second Reading (City Secretary)
Council approved first reading 8-0-0 on January 28, 2014.
Background:
Ordinance 2014-02 will amend the existing Section 2-32 entitled Conduct of Meetings to allow for the adoption of the most recent edition of Robert's Rules of Order, Newly Revised, 11th Edition. Should Council approve the change, staff will provide copies of the most recent edition, which includes 17 significant changes.
