Consider and take action to confirm appointments to the Ethics Review Board (Council Member Cones and Council Member Becker)
Background:
Ordinance No. 2009-43 was adopted on December 8, 2009. Section 2-36(b) says: Composition. The Ethics Review Board shall consist of eight (8) members. The Mayor and each member of the City Council shall nominate one member of the Board. Each nominee must be confirmed by a majority of City Council members. Nomination and confirmation of Board members shall be conducted at separate open meetings of the City Council.
At the regular Council Meeting on February 24, 2015, nominations were made for the following appointments:
Andy Mann - term to expire 12/31/2015 (appointee for Mayor Paulissen)
John Randolph - term to expire 12/31/2015 (appointee for Council Member Cones - Council Position 2)
David Tilley - term to expire 12/31/2016 (appointee for Council Member Kinsey - Council Position 4)
David Bond - term to expire 12/31/2016 (appointee for Council Member Bentley - Council Position 5)
Mike Cobb - term to expire 12/31/2016 (appointee for Council Member Gross - Council Position 6)
