Consider and take action on the purchase of a Gradall XL5200 Crawler Excavator from Associated Supply Co., Inc. (ASCO) through HGACBuy for $399,088 (Director of Finance)
Background:
Approval of this item will authorize the purchase of a Gradall to meet the City's operating needs by replacing a 2004 model.
The approved FY15 budget included funding for five (5) heavy equipment units. The equipment will be purchased through Houston Galveston Area Council (HGAC) purchasing program contract. By utilizing this contract the City meets formal bidding requirements.
