Consider and take action on a resolution declaring sixteen (16) vehicles and one (1) piece of equipment as surplus property and approve the method to be used to dispose of the property (Assistant City Manager)
Background:
Approval of this item will authorize the disposal of surplus vehicles and equipment. Per Chapter 2, Article VI, Section 2-301 of the City of League City Code of Ordinances, before any property of the City is sold or offered for sale, the property shall first be declared surplus property by resolution duly adopted by the City Council and approve the method to be used in disposing of the property. Attached Exhibit “A” identifies the list of automobiles and equipment proposed for auction.
