Hold a public hearing on the City of League City’s Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Annual Budget (Assistant City Manager)
Background:
Pursuant to state law, a public hearing must be held on the City’s Annual Budget prior to its adoption.
City Council passed agenda item 10B at the July 26th City Council meeting calling for the public hearing to be set for August 23, 2016. The attached ad ran in the Galveston County Daily News on Sunday, August 7, 16 days prior to the hearing. State law requires the notice to run at least 10 days but not more than 30 days before the hearing.
