Consider and take action on a resolution to amend Article V, Section 1(d) of the City Council Governance Policy and Rules of Procedure to require audio recordings of executive session (Mayor Hallisey and Council Member Dugie)
Background:
If approved, this item will amend the Governance Policy and Rules of Procedure adopted by City Council on February 23, 2016. The current policy requires that the record of each executive session shall be a certified agenda that complies with the Texas Open Meetings Act. Approval of this item will add the requirement for an audio recording in addition to the certified agenda.
