Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing an agreement with Happy Harbor Methodist Homes, Inc. d/b/a MRC The Crossings for annual payments in lieu of taxes (PILOT) to the City of League City (City Attorney)
Background:
This matter was recently discussed with the City Council in executive session regarding the City’s pending lawsuit against Happy Harbor. The parties have agreed to settle the litigation, and part of that settlement entails the parties executing this PILOT agreement so that the City will start receiving the PILOT payments owed.
