Recognition of League City’s employee annual award winners for League City Superstar of the Year, Making the Difference Award, Working Together Award, and Diamond of Excellence Award (Director of Communications)
Background:
The city hosted the Employee Annual Holiday Luncheon on Dec. 7, 2016 at Hometown Heroes Park. During the luncheon, the following annual awards were presented to city employees:
i. League City Superstar of the Year. The award recognizes an employee who has gone above and beyond in making the city a better place to live, work and play.
ii. Making the Difference Award. Recipient of the award is selected by the City Manager and presented each year to a city employee whose selfless demeanor exemplifies the spirit of public service.
iii. Working Together Award. The award recognizes departments and/or inter-departmental teams who work together to serve the League City community through events, activities, city services, etc.
iv. Diamond of Excellence Award. The award recognizes employees providing outstanding customer service to the League City community, city staff or other stakeholders.
