Consider and take action on a resolution creating the League City Economic Development Board (Mayor Hallisey and Council Member Dugie)
Background:
This agenda item will create the League City Economic Development Board. The Board will be comprised of eight (8) members and shall be responsible for 1) providing recommendations to the League City City Council related to the promotion of sustainable economic development activities within League City, 2) providing recommendations to the City Council regarding specific economic development projects, 3) providing input and recommendations regarding League City’s economic development priorities and strategies; and/or 4) any other duties as assigned by the City of League City Council.
The initial members of the Board will be appointed at a subsequent City Council Meeting.
