Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing a first amendment to the professional services agreement with Dannenbaum Engineering Corporation for Calder Road - South of Ervin to Cross Colony Reconstruction in an amount not to exceed $59,885 (Public Works Director)
Background:
Approval of this resolution will authorize a professional services agreement amending the original agreement to include design services for the addition of a 12-inch water main to the Calder Road - South of Ervin to Cross Colony Reconstruction project.
Per the Master Water Plan and our desire to develop a new well, the 12-inch water main is necessary to improve distribution circulation and provide redundancy. It was not included in the initial project scoping as the well development in this area was still under disucssion.
Dannenbaum Engineering Corporation submitted a proposal to be added into the project design as follows: Phase I - Preliminary Engineering Report in the total amount of $25,885; Phase II - final design drawings and specifications in the total amount of $34,000; Phase III - bidding and construction phase services in the total amount of $0.
