Consider and take action on a resolution approving an Electric Distribution Line Easement conveyance from the City to Texas-New Mexico Power Company associated with infrastructure improvements to the City’s Dickinson Booster Pump Station and Well (Director of Public Works)
Background:
Approval of this resolution will approve the conveyance of an Electric Distribution Line Easement conveyance from the City to Texas-New Mexico Power Company (TNMP) associated with infrastructure improvements to the City’s Dickinson Booster Pump Station and Well.
The addition of a water well and future pump upgrades for the Dickinson Booster Pump Station and Well, as a part of the GLO-CDBG, Disaster Recovery Program, requires an upgrade to the electrical service. The upgrade to the electrical service requires a larger transformer which will be pad mounted. The pad mounted transformer requires a 30’ x 30’ TNMP Electric Distribution Line Easement.
